As we continue to recover from the pandemic and you return to the world and public spaces, remember to keep hygiene in mind. Yes, you probably have your vaccine, but we still think it’s important to remember to wash your hands properly as we move forward. When using a public restroom, remember wash and dry your hands completely. While finishing up, take a look around the restroom and understand the products you use are there to aid in a hygienic experience. Most of those restroom products in front of you come from Newton and our bathroom-in-a-box package. A Trip Down Memory Lane
Newton’s early days focused primarily on hand dryers. To this day, many of our customers still don’t realize that we offer far more than dryers. As we have grown through the years, we have been able to add all kinds of inventory. What set Newton apart from the competition was the simple fact that if someone called looking for a product that we didn’t have; we would find it. We would hunt the product down for a person who wasn’t even a customer yet. Once found, we would call the vendor and expedite the process so we could find a way to provide that product. From that process, we grew relationships with new customers and new vendors. Vendors loved our passion and gave us a shot where others may not have.
Years had passed and our knowledge of products grew. Everyone on the staff worked together to teach each other so anyone could answer a product question. The early days had only a few of us in one office, close together, working to exceed customer expectations. Determined as a team to outperform anyone else out there, slowly we became the industry experts. That mentality is still here at Newton, even if the office is a lot bigger and we have some personal space.
Bathroom-In-A-Box?
The concept of a bathroom-in-a-box simply meant we could offer every part of a restroom in one package. You would place one order featuring a full restroom product list; you would receive one invoice and one shipment. The Newton ONE Advantage we would call it. We don’t market the concept anymore, but it still exists. Granted, now that we offer full Division 9 and Division 10 products, it isn’t as easy as providing one shipment. Often times we need multiple pallets to get all of your job’s items to the site. I told you, we now truly offer hand dryers and more.

While using that public restroom, look around. Before your eyes is your reflection in what is most likely a channel frame mirror from Bobrick or ASI. Make sure to use soap from the dispenser before turning on the automatic faucet. Both are heavily stocked in our warehouse and ready to go. Dry your hands with paper towel dispensers or hand dryers, we supply a variety of both. Look at the toilet stall. Toilet partitions are a huge part of our business. Not just the enclosure though, the toilet paper dispenser, toilet, flush valve, coat hook, grab bars, napkin disposal and even the seat cover dispensers; all from our warehouse in Natick, MA.
Where Do You See Our Products
Perhaps you are at the gym, those lockers and shower heads and accessories are another portion of our business. Do you see a water cooler in the locker room? Newton Distributing again. Even if you are leaving a locker room or restroom, touchless door openers like a Foot Pull come from us too.
Walk outside of your condominium or apartment and look around. Got a flag pole? Yup, you guessed it. Flag poles, mailboxes, park benches, bike racks all come from our division 10 packages. Go down into the condominium basement and you will some wire partitions protecting your belongings. Need to stop a fire? Grab the fire extinguisher out of it’s cabinet. These are all products we work with every day.
Newton Has the Capability
Not many companies have the capability Newton does. Competitors make similar claims but don’t have the stories to back it up. Many offer a small selection of products. Others have access to particular items but not the pricing benefits we can offer. The Newton team has devoted themselves to working together to grow this once little basement company into something more. Along the way, vendors noticed.
